A path to walk

The reasons for practicing Kendo are simple to relieve stress and build strength, and to cultivate the mind through discipline, respect, and courtesy. Yet we often face our limits, where frustration turns into self-criticism, and what began as joy becomes a burden. Like Sisyphus, we push the same stone uphill—only to watch it fall again. But meaning lies not at the top, but in the act of pushing. Kendo is not something to conquer, but a path to walk. Enjoy it first, only then can we truly love it.
